Mixtape Wins Game of the Year at the 2026 Australian Game Developer Awards

IGN reports that Mixtape by Beethoven & Dinosaur won Game of the Year at the 2026 Australian Game Developer Awards and also took Excellence in Sound Design. Judges praised its heartfelt music; IGN’s review called it a musical delight, and the game features a licensed soundtrack (Devo, The Smashing Pumpkins, Iggy Pop, etc.). Other AGDA winners include rhythm game Bits & Bops, reinforcing the audio-centric relevance.
